Adolescent Girls - Cornerstone of Society Conference: Session 1

Session 1 at the 5th International UNICEF - Graduate Program in International Affairs Conference, "Adolescent Girls-Cornerstone of Society: Building Evidence and Policies for Inclusive Societies", was titled Girls Empowered. The session was opened with a presentation titled "Strenghtening Healthy Resistance and Courage in Girls" by the session Chair, Carol Gilligan from New York University.

Presenters included Helen Chendi from UNICEF Cameroon, Neera Kewalramani from Bhavishya Alliance, India, Sepideh Yousefzadeh from Maastricht University, the Netherlands and Stephanie Baric from CARE USA. Gary Barker from ICRW and Men Engage Alliance acted as session commentator.
