Welcome to the July 2010 Newsletter of Equity for Children. Over the past few months, issues related to empowering adolescent girls have been the forefront of Equity for Children. This month we are proud to present to you exclusive interviews with conference participants, more papers and presentations from the Adolescent Girls Conference, and a full video recording of ms. Marta Mauras’ keynote speech.

The Equity for Children site also features an exclusive video interview with New York Times columnist Nick Kristof as well as other interview videos with conference participants about the biggest challenges faced by adolescent girls in today’s world. Equity for Children is also proud to announce the launch of it’s Portuguese sister site, Equidade para a Infância, which will focus on issues regarding child poverty and child rights in Latin America.
