Organized jointly by the Comparative Research Programme on Poverty (CROP) and the Childwatch International Research Network, this International Conference was held on September 17-19, 2007 at the University of Oslo, Norway. It focused on the nexus between children and poverty and how it affects, not only the children suffering from the hardship of poverty in all its aspects, but also the development of generations and the future of countries and continents.
