The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a center within the Economics Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology whose aim is to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is based on scientific evidence. Partnering with governments, private companies, and nongovernmental organizations, J-PAL researchers answer key policy questions using scientific methods. Below are links to some of their policy briefs, which concern children and poverty.
