Vital Seeds Inc.: Addressing the Needs of Children and Families in Extreme Poverty

Vital SEEDS Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in NYC with the mission to reach out for children, and their families, living in complete destitution. Its main objective is to address issues of nutrition and education by supporting communities that have no access to such rights due to extreme poverty.

Vital SEEDS Inc.’s vision is achieved by: 

Finding educational initiatives; Improving the school structure (by bringing water, electricity and other important resources); Providing nutrition to the students; Sharing resources, such as clothing, shoes, books and school supplies; Improving academic programs; Helping initiative leaders to expand their skills; Involving the global and local community; Empowering parents (through literacy programs, craft workshops and counseling services).
